We are looking for

Impact Manager (32 – 40 hours/week)

Profile

As an Impact Manager, you will manage various activities that are related to impact: the agenda of the impact board, our net-zero strategy (AsOnetoZero), and our impact strategy. The job entails supporting, steering, managing and reporting of impact topics, understanding the content and driving the agenda. You as no other understand how to relate this to Triodos’ daily activities.

In this role, it is essential to establish strong work relationships with internal stakeholders – from team members to the impact board – to ensure alignment on impact topics, implementations and decisions. You track changes in the outside world and ensure they are on the internal impact agenda. Not to forget, you can engage the relevant stakeholders – and perhaps even the whole organization – on the importance of impact management and strategy. Triodos Bank is about impact. And your role is to help to accelerate our impact on sustainability transitions

Take action

  • Steer and manage our impact and impact strategy agenda and implementation
  • Support and oversee the impact activities including the agenda of the impact board and the core team
  • Act as project manager for (large scale) impact projects, such as impact strategy or our net-zero strategy
  • Support co-workers and senior leadership in impact questions and be together with colleagues the ‘center of expertise’ for their questions.
  • Monitor external developments on impact and, if necessary, translate them into internal changes or projects

The team

You will work in the Impact and Advocacy team which consists of 3 Impact and Advocacy Managers and you will report to the Team Lead of Impact & Advocacy.

This is you

You have a positive and open attitude and a firm belief that impact can happen by financing change and changing finance. You get energy from working on different projects simultaneously. In combination with your substantive knowledge and excellent communication skills you are capable of persuading and engaging people.

This is complemented by:

  • A strong personal connection with the mission and values of Triodos and being able to translate this in your daily tasks and in our positions
  • A networker and connector within an international and multi-disciplinary context
  • Well organised and able to keep overview
  • Excellent command of the English language; other languages can be an advantage
  • Master degree in sustainability, business administration, economics, finance
  • Experience with or knowledge of impact management frameworks/approaches and/or sustainable finance regulation
  • 1-5 years working experience

Our award-winning sustainable office is based in Driebergen-Zeist, the Netherlands at the Reehorst Estate, just 3 minutes’ walk from the train station.
